Directions
Hyde Hall is located at McCorkle Place on the campus of the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (
UNC map locating Hyde Hall).
Hyde Hall is accessible from East Franklin Street Parking is available
at several nearby lots (see map below):
1. City lot, entrances on Rosemary and Church
Streets.
2. City lot, entrance on Rosemary Street.
3. Bank of America parking deck, entrance on Rosemary
Street.
4. City parking deck, entrance on Rosemary
Street.
5. Morehead Planetarium lot, entrance on Franklin
Street.
6. UNC visitor lot, entrance on Cameron Avenue.
7. Handicapped restricted parking, entrance through
alley on Franklin Street.

Driving Directions
From Raleigh
Take exit 270 (HWY 15-501) towards Chapel Hill. Take a left
off of the exit to get onto 15-501. After a one and half miles, the
road forks. Stay to the right and get on Franklin Street when it splits
off. Hyde Hall is located on campus, just beyond the Morehead
Planetarium and Science Center, which is 2.5 miles on the left on
Franklin Street.
From Pittsboro
Take 15-501 North into Chapel Hill. After crossing over
Fordham Blvd. (otherwise known as the 54/15-501 bypass) the road
becomes Columbia Street. Proceed for 1.5 miles (7 stoplights). Turn
right at the eighth traffic light -- Franklin Street. Hyde Hall is
accessible from Franklin Street less than one half mile after turning
right.
From Durham
Take I-85 South to 15-501 South. Continue 1.6 miles past the
I-40 interchange and take the Franklin Street exit, which veers off to
the right (Morehead Planetarium and Franklin Street signs precede
the exit by a half block). Proceed on Franklin Street for 2.6 miles.
Hyde Hall is located on campus, just beyond the Morehead
Planetarium and Science Center, which is 2.5 miles on the left on
Franklin Street.
From Greensboro or Winston-Salem
Take I-40 East (watch for the separation of I-85 and I-40
just east of Efland) to exit 266 – Highway 86. Turn right. Highway 86
becomes Airport Road. Stay on Airport Road 4.1 miles to the Franklin
Street traffic light. Turn left. Hyde Hall is accessible from Franklin
Street less than one half mile after turning right.
